Dear Saints, Friends and Partners,
We send warm Christian greetings to you from People For Jesus Ministry – PFJM (formerly known as People For Jesus International Ministries).
Many activities have been going on for regular Church daily, weekly and monthly programmes and projects. Some of the evangelistic activities are enlisted in the updates while many others are not. The Church works in communities with many poor orphans, widows, pupils, students, and people at risk who need our support but we thank God that we are able to help some of them with your partnership.
We had very busy Kingdom services in April 2014. This is one of our busiest calender months. PFJM had a ministry to widows during this year’s CHRISTIAN COMMUNITY SEVICE on Easter Monday.
ORPHANS/VULNERABLE CHILDREN AND STUDENTS SUPPORT AND SPONSORSHIP: The Church launched a serious ‘school drop outs back to school’ campaign programme in February 2014 as part of the Church sponsorship programme. The programme is targeting about 45 pupils/students who dropped out of school for various reasons especially among the Maasai communities in Narok county. Thanks to those who responded to our plea to help school drop outs plus those who have not been able to make it to school to go to school. We have not yet reached out target and many more children who need to go to school are increasing. YOU CAN GIVE AS LITTLE AS £15 (US$25 PER MONTH OR £180 (US$300) PER YEAR TO ENABLE A STUDENT GO BACK TO GOVERNMENT DAY SECONDARY SCHOOL. About half of the funds is used for the purchase of school uniforms. You can also help a child go back to primary school by giving US$100 per year.
KANDARIA MIXED SECONDARY SCHOOL ELECTRICAL WIRING UPDATES
The government of Kenya has refused to install electricity at Kandaria Secondary school. Remember that Menzieshill High school donated wonderful computers for establishing a computer laboratory in the school. But due to lack of electricity, Pastor Tom is keeping the computers till electricity is available at the school. The wiring will cost the school £1800. The Church in collaboration with the school community is planning for a funds-drive on 8th August 2014. ANY DONATIONS ARE WELCOME!!!
PEOPLE FOR JESUS MINISTRY MISSION TEAM COUNCIL
People For Jesus Ministry has a mission team or Mission Council that plans and implements local, regional and international missions programmes. That includes crusades, church planting, prayers and intercessory prayers, community evangelistic Outreach programmes and projects. The team also mobilizes, recruits, sends and support long-term and short-term missionaries and teams to different parts of the world. The Mission Team also hosts volunteer missionaries from every part of the world. The Mission Council meets every month to pray, plan and implement Church mission programmes.
WIDOWS AND THE POOR PEOPLE’S PROJECTS NEED YOUR SUPPORT
PFJM has established a self-help project called ”Cluster Dynamics” which are designed to pull together groups of 5, 10 or 15 people from within a community group who are mutually in great need. The groups are tasked with developing a micro-project which will generate income for the group in order that they can support themselves and their families.
The groups mainly made up of destitute women, are poor for a number of reasons but mainly due to the tragedy of HIV/AIDS which affects each family in one way or another. Some suffer from the disease themselves, others as a result of losing their husband by HIV/AIDS. The result is that the remaining partner (usually wife and mother) is left to support a number of children. PFJM can help these groups get established by providing one time initial set up grant of £450, 900 and 1350 respectively, allowing them to get going with their project and bring in the much needed income that will grow the project and support the group and their dependants. PFJM will closely monitor the projects to ensure that they are profitable to the groups. You can invest in this worthy course that can profitably change lives of the poor widows and others for a life time. We Currently we have the groups of 5, 10 and 15 ready to move with any support that comes to them. PLEASE HELP THESE POOR PEOPLE TRANSFORM THEIR LIVES BY YOUR ONE TIME SUPPORT.

Hello,I came across this page as I am trying to learn more about the needs of the people of Kenya, Eldoret area. I am a single 51 year old woman who came to know Jesus Dec,20,2001 I was a atheist and had no hope, live on the streets and suffered with cancer and other disabilities. Thank God the cancer is gone, my wounds have left many scars from many acts of evil, that has been clean with the blood of the Lamb. While here in South Carolina, USA the last few years I have lost much for the kingdom of God here on earth, but gain so much more in my heart and eternity.i am well educated , a missionary with Chosen Children Ministry in Nicaragua, minister to women behind bars, and I have raised my daughter on my own and she is 22 and on her own now. For the last couple of years my health took a for turn for the worst as I struggle with many of the symptoms of Multiple Sclerosis . However I met a young man and his family from there I told them they pray for God to heal me I would come to start church , refugee camp for children &widows, drill for fresh water ,even came up with many business proposal to help the people of Kenya. That would bring income ,build a bridge of hope, prosperity, unity. As you can tell God has answered theirs prayers. I know that I have a lot to learn of the politics and laws concerning Kenya and the people. I have even done some research to bring in electrical transformers. for what I have assumed it would be the cost of $6,000 of US dollars , equal to 500,000.00 million shillings. I have a big heart and a longing to be involve their in Eldoret As I can see the Lord Jesus to use my skills, gifts, recourses, and involvement with working of those who have gone before me. I do not want anything in return ,it is the Lord for whom I work for. please let me know if you receive this and I await to hear from someone. Thank you, yours in Christ, Karen Smith
