International Reconstructive Plastic Surgery

- Children with genetic defects, patients with head and neck cancer, terrible traumatic injury and horrific and tissue destroying conditions such as Buruli Ulcers and Noma, peculiar to tropical countries, all produce deformities and disabilities that can be helped by plastic surgery.
International Save Our Souls Society
- We are a nonprofit organization created to benefit those who are physically challenged due to disability caused during birth, illness or injury. We help men, women and children, in Ghana, West Africa. The Kunta Kinte Orthopedic Hospital (KKOH) is located in Mampong Akuapem, on a hillside in the Eastern region of Ghana, about 25 miles from Accra and near the Aburi Garden. It is a charitable, Non-Profit endeavor of ISOSS.
Malaria Capacity Development Consortium (MCDC) – PhD Programme
- The MCDC PhD programme offers support to candidates of high academic calibre who can demonstrate a strong commitment to research relevant to the prevention or control of malaria.
- A rigorous procedure will be used to select the most able African students to pursue PhD studies based in the African countries participating in the programme – Ghana, Malawi, Senegal, Tanzania, and Uganda. Approximately 20 students will be selected, and each allocated to one of the five African partner universities.
