- Youth for Christ Uganda is committed to evangelism and discipleship of its young people. This organization has been in Uganda for 19 years, reaching young people through gospel outreach and crisis pregnancy counselling.
- YFC shares the love and gospel of Jesus Christ with young people through gospel programs, sex education, life skills education and leadership development.
9. Frontier Force Christian Ministries
- Frontier Force is another of the Christian ministries in Uganda. Its vision is to reach out to the lost world with the good news of Jesus Christ through church planting within unreached communities.
- Frontier Force aims to strengthen existing church plants in order to realize spiritual and numerical growth, make disciples who will in turn make new disciples, show the heart of God the Father to orphans, widows, the elderly and the needy, and set up income-generating projects to sustain the ministry.
- This Christian ministry organization has been in existence for eight years and has since then planted 260 churches.
- The mission of this organization is to contribute towards strengthening church institutions to respond to community needs using holistic, innovative and unique approaches.
- Celebrate Hope also supports vulnerable people in Kyotera, Uganda with coffee growing projects.
- Action Uganda, another of the Christian ministries in Uganda, has two ministry arms through which it impacts the people of Uganda.
- First, the Children in Christ ministry arm meets the needs of the people of Uganda through the Family Strengthening Outreach Team, The Disabilities Ministry, The Home of Love and the Jesus is the Truth Nursery and Primary School.
- Second, the Pastoral Leadership Development Arm seeks to equip rural pastors by running training programs and conferences for them in remote regions of Northern Uganda.
- Rafiki Africa Ministries seeks to raise up the next generation of Uganda Christian leaders who will be known for their Biblical morals and values.
- Rafiki Africa’s goal is to provide to the love of Jesus, food, shelter, medical needs and education in a family-style home for the destitute, orphaned, and vulnerable children of Uganda.
- This ministry was founded by Joseph and Sara Kiwanuka in 2009.
5. Living Water Ministries Uganda
- Living Water Ministries, another of the Christian ministries in Uganda, was founded in 1994.
- Its aim is to take the gospel to the unreached people of the world starting in Uganda and moving north along the Great Nile River towards the Red Sea.
- The mission of this institution is to impact Uganda with the gospel message, to bring about the knowledge of salvation, and reverse the corruption and moral decadence in the country.
4. Life Ministries Christian Centre
- Since its inception in 1992, Life Ministries Christian Centre has planted several spirit-filled evangelical churches in Uganda.
- LMCC is a multi-faceted ministry that reaches out to the continent of Africa through church planting, assisting the poor, equipping servant leaders, caring for the sick and needy, and educating the next generation.
- Two teams of Mission to the World missionaries, based in Kampala, work alongside national partners to build God’s kingdom in East Africa.
- The first team provides sound ministerial and Biblical training to African pastors through academic teaching and mentoring at the Africa Reformation Theological Seminary and Westminster Christian Institute in Uganda.
- The second team consists of a collaborative group that serves the Ugandan church in its task of discipleship and kingdom witness.
- World Gospel Mission is well known for engaging Christ-like disciples to transform the world.
- Its initiatives include holistic community transformation, i.e. ministries that meet the needs of the whole person.
- In Uganda, ministry activities include partnerships with local churches, e.g. Africa Gospel Church, as well as college ministry and field outreach ministry.
- Hope Ministries targets the Batwa – a pygmy tribe located in the South West corner of Uganda. This community faces the challenge of being separated from God and living in abject poverty as a result of being conservation refugees.
- Hope Ministries aims to build awareness of the plight of this people, and to bring the hope of Jesus Christ to them using a holistic approach.
