Dear Saints and Friends,
Greetings in the most amazing and awesome name of the Lord Jesus Christ. The year is moving on very fast and many things have been going on in the Church and in many communities where we work around the world. The branch churches in Kenya, Tanzania and Pakistan are keeping the fervour of the Spirit and pressing on to fulfill the call to make true disciples of Jesus Christ who are able to declare the glory of God in all the earth. Thank you very much for your role you are playing that has made us come thus far. But all glory we ascribe to the God the Father, the Lord Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit.
APRIL 2012
Many activities were going on in the ministry since it is a school holiday in Kenya but only a few have been reported.
- 19TH – 23RD APRIL 2012: People For Jesus International Ministries (PFJIM) Mission Team was in Kisumu County (about 250 kilometres away from Narok) for a Church Planting Survey and came back with a strong recommendation that a Church needs to be planted in that area. The Church is planning to plant a Church there in August 15th – 20 August.
- 27TH APRIL 2012: Pastor Tom was very busy training the youth in a powerful seminar which culminated in a spiritual renewal and revival meeting in the night lead by the youth. That took place in the Narok town tent Church.
MAY 2012
The month was also busy. The PFJIM Mission Team was supposed to travel to South Sudan for a Church planting Mission from 17th –30th May 2012 but that was not the case. The security and the weather conditions in that country were so bad that we were advised by our hosts that we postpone our trip to November 2012.
- 16TH – 19TH MAY 2012: Pastor Tom was very busy launching a community development irrigation project in Western Kenya at Kisumu County in Kandaria village. PFJIM through her partners supported St.Andrea Community Development and Youth Group to purchase Water Pump and all related accessories and items to enable the poor Kandaria village to do Rice and horticultural irrigation farming. Thanks to the partners. Some photos are on display below.
JUNE 2012
We had several things going on. On 2nd June 2012, the Church had an half-year review meeting of all church activities, programmes and plans. The meeting was for all the Church leaders in the Church in Kenya.
WIDOWS AND THE POOR PEOPLES PROJECTS LAUNCHED IN JUNE 2012 BY PFJIM
PFJM has established a self-help project called ”Cluster Dynamics” which are designed to pull together groups of 5, 10 or 15 people from within a community group who are mutually in great need. The groups are tasked with developing a micro-project which will generate income for the group in order that they can support themselves and their families. The groups mainly made up of destitute women, are poor for a number of reasons but mainly due to the tragedy of HIV/AIDS which affects each family in one way or another. Some suffer from the disease themselves, others as a result of losing their husband by HIV/AIDS.
The result is that the remaining partner (usually wife and mother) is left to support a number of children. PJIM can help these groups get established by providing one time initial set up grant of £500, 1000 and 1500 respectively, allowing them to get going with their project and bring in the much needed income that will grow the project and support the group and their dependents. PFJM will closely monitor the projects to ensure that they are profitable to the groups. You can invest in this worthy course that can profitably change lives of the poor widows and others for a life time.

Pastor Peavon Nyangau Angwenyi says
Dear loving friends in the name of Jesus,
We have been wonderfully touched by your website. My names are Pastor Peavon Nyangau Angwenyi writing from western parts of Kisii in Kenya (East Africa).
My wife Doricah’s and I we both are Christian members with Highway of Hope Christian Church of Kenya. We have had a passion since we entered into marriage for widows and orphaned children who suffer parental loss as a result of HIV/AIDS.
Currently our hearts praises to God for 60 orphaned children are under our care. Please allow us and in the love of God to request you prayers for their many needs.Currently they don’t have food to eat.The Lord has placed upon our hearts the desire to appeal to all welshers and friends a round the world to help us feed and give hope to these children.Nobody around us seem to cares for their needs.Jesus identified with the poor, is concerned about them, and blessed those who those who served them.
Again we feel God is asking us to reach out to the poor, the suffering, the lost and the dying in a hopeless, selfish and careless world with His message of hope and direction. Somebody must care and where there is care, there is hope and victory.
Our main target therefore, we want to support and empower, offer hope, Accept responsibility and reap a brighter future. Therefore friends in partnering with you kindly we would make a difference in their lives here in Kisii –Kenya Africa. Now Mom, are you ready to support and empower with your live for the future of these children?
Thank you once again for taking time to look at our prayer request and may God open your heart to be apart of this work towards making a difference in His kingdoms Amen!!
We await to hear from you soonest if you can,
