Thank you once again for your faithful support and encouragement and for being part of what the Lord is doing on this part of the earth. We love and appreciate you and pray for you continuously.
Please enjoy and pray over this Newsletter.
Church life – As Monze Mission family, we are thankful to God for His past provision and continue to trust Him for all that lies ahead of us. We continue with our normal activities aimed at reaching out to the people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ
MONZE GOSPEL CRUSADE – Monze Gospel Crusade was held in the heart of Monze town from 27th to 31st May, 2015. The crusade was organized by Evangelist Christopher Alam of Dynamis World Ministries of U.S.A. During the crusade close to 500 souls gave themselves to the
Lord. We thank the Lord for many people who responded to the preaching of God’s word and those who came to know the Lord Jesus Christ. An estimated number of 800 attended the meetings every evening. At the moment we are all busy following- up new converts
Prior to the crusade, we had a 3 week training of ushers, counselors, singers as well as all those who were involved in the crusade. The training was from 27th April to 24th May, 2015
We had different speakers and all of them were coming from Zimbabwe.
We thank God that the Body of Christ was equipped and sharpened
A day before the beginning of the Crusade, the Body of Christ in Monze had an all night prayer meeting in order to pray for the land of Monze, the Souls and the ministry of God’s Word.
Children’s’ Corner –On 4th February, the Church bought the swing for the Sunday school children. From the time the swing was bought, we have made many contacts with a number of children especially street children who come to play.
On 29th April, 27 chairs for the Sunday school were purchased and the
Purchase of these chairs cushioned the challenge of chairs in the Church.
For sometime children were sharing chairs while others were forced to sit on the mats. The Swing and the chairs were made available with the support of brothers and sisters at Stow Park Church, Newport, South Wales. We are always indebted to the brethren at Stow Park Church for their continued support to the Lord’s work at Monze especially children’s work.
On 5th March, children were excited to receive Christmas shoe boxes from the Samaritan’s Purse a Christian organization under Evangelist Billy Graham. This was indeed a great and joyous moment for the children especially the orphans and vulnerable children as they opened gift boxes which contained different kinds of precious items. The shoe box gift was indeed a tool for evangelism and brought God’s love in the eyes of these precious children. Through the distribution of these gift boxes, the church had also made some contacts with some of their parents and guardians of these children.
Baptism Service – the Church conducted a baptism service on 17th May and we witnessed 3 sisters obeying the Lord’s command. Meanwhile we have continued to disciple these new converts so that they continue to grow in the things of the Lord
Construction of a Hostel Block- Construction work of a hostel block within the Church plot is gong on well and much progress has been made so far. The building work is almost at window level. The hostel is an important project as it will help accommodate Conference Participants across the region. Children will also be using the conference hall for various activities. Once the building project is complete, it will also be a source of income by providing accommodation to the visiting believers in Monze at a reasonable cost. In this way the Lord’s work in the region will be self sustaining.
Brethren the building project is a step of faith totally depending on the faithfulness of God. We are kindly asking you to join hands with us in prayers and those of you who may feel led to contribute towards the project, we will appreciate your support.

Family Highlights –in our last newsletter we excitedly to inform you that as a family we were looking forward to the coming of a new baby. Unfortunately things turned differently as the expected baby passed on two hours after was born.
A week before Florence was taken to the hospital; she had a sharp pain on her hip causing her movements difficult. On 29th May Florence was taken to the hospital. At the hospital it was discovered that her blood Pressure was very high. High blood pressure in pregnant women leads to a medical condition called Pre – eclampsia.
Pre – eclampsia in pregnant woman leads to convulsing which may cause death to both mother and the baby. Although her due date was 17th June, Doctors recommended inducing labor immediately in order to save life. Florence was n labor from 12:00hrs noon
“Burial of the baby taking place”
until 03:15hrs when she delivered a baby boy weighing 3.4kg. Due to prolonged labor, by the time the baby was born, the baby had some difficulties in breathing. Doctors tried what they could to resuscitate life but by 04:50hrs we lost the baby.
Currently, Florence is still using the Zima frame for her movements and we take her to the hospital every after two days for physiotherapy.
Ministry Needs – as the Church, we are trusting God for the provision of musical instruments such as key board or piano, speakers, quitters etc. We are also praying for the provision of Bibles, as well as Christian books We can assure you that all these needs are to God’s Own Glory and will be used to bring thousand into His Kingdom.
As work expands, we are trusting God for laborers who will serve as volunteers for short term or long term service in the ministry of Sunday school, youths and women. We hope and trust that we shall be able to jointly work towards ministering the word to the lost souls even as we see the glorious appearing of the Lord drawing nearer.
